texastopper Posted February 26, 2007 Share Posted February 26, 2007 hello everybody. long time reader first time question asker. i have an 02 rt w/48k miles. first off i would like to say if i may that the people that respond to the questions on this board are very knowledgable and helpful in the dept. of bmw m/c's. thanks in advance. now for the question, at med to high speeds i hear a faint slapping noise coming from the engine area. it sounds simular to an alt. belt that had a small shred ripping off . but its not,removed cover for a visual. any ideas folks.
