RoSPA_man
I just got some Acf50 which is highly recommended to stop corrosion etc. Anyone know if it is OK/good to use on high temperature parts like the exhaust headers or wil it burn off/discolour etc? Link to comment
Mike05
Hugh, At the risk of really looking dumb ( ), what exactly is "Acf50" ?? Maybe I know it/product by another name. Link to comment
duckbubbles
It is similar to LPS spray lubricants and corrosion protectants. It is touted more for corrosion protection than lubrication. AS far as using it on exhaust pipes, I don't think there is much out there that will stay on after spraying on. The heat will evaporate anything volatile and anything left may stain the finish. A good cleaning and some chrome polish may be best. Frank Link to comment
