Memorial Service Info for Glen McIntosh

I'm starting this thread. BrianT is at Glen and Teri's home, helping with details. He will post here in a minute with the information he has. At the moment it is tentative. As it firms up, he will update us.

 

Please, do not respond here. We need to keep this thread clean so that people can get the information they need without wading through pages and pages.

The plans are still in the works, but I wanted to give people a heads up so those that wanted to attend can start making arrangements.

 

It looks like the services will be this weekend in Boulder City, NV and probably on Sunday, however we won't know for sure until tomorrow. As soon as I know, you'll know. When it's locked in I'll furnish the location and details.

I'm waiting to relay the information to others in the sport bike community, particularly his home at gsxrpaddock.com where he was a moderator and always will be even if he's now silent... We have people ready to get plane tix and hop on planes to head to Nevada. Speak the words, and we'll be there. When you know, we'll know.

Just an update. For those riding here, there will be a rememberence ride before the services by the local Sin City Sportbikes group starting at one of the local bike shops and ending at the location of the services. When it's locked in I'll pass the info on for those that want to join in. There may also be a motorcycle escort from the location of the services to the gravesite.

 

Per Terri, moto gear is appropriate for the services so feel free to ride here. Gleno is going to be wearing his.

There will be a Christian service, followed by a Masonic service so this will probably be 2 hrs plus the graveside service.

P.S. I can't edit my previous post so I'm updating info here.

 

There will not be any graveside service, so there will not be an escort from the memorial service to the graveside. Instead the Sin City Sportbikes crew is putting together a group ride into Boulder City to the memorial service, which sounds like the next best thing.
