csapp05 Posted January 24, 2007 Share Posted January 24, 2007 Bike: 02 R1150RTP w/ 70k Hello, I went for a ride today and on the way home at the stoplight with the bike in 1st gear, I could hear a loud consistent knocking noise. If I popped it in neutral and let out the lever, the noise goes away, if I pull the lever in, the noise starts again. Does not matter if I am in a gear or not, and everything else seems to be normal (shifting, clutch not slipping, etc). Browsing the forums, it seems to be a throw out bearing issue, but wanted to see if anyone had a educated guess. Thanks! Link to comment
