gettysburg
I finally got around to removing the bug that crawled into my instrument cluster on our trip to Yellowstone this past August. Since the bug sort of broke apart from months of vibration, I sprayed some Plastix on the inside of the lense and preceeded to clean it. Well, just like the folks who cleaned their anti-fog helmet lenses with Plastix, my lense looks all milky and scratched It looks I may be able to get all the coating off after letting the Plastix soak for a while. The question is, will my lense start fogging over when it's really humid or raining? Does anybody know of a company that make a spray-on or stick-on anti-fog film? Link to comment
gettysburg
WD-40 did an excellent job at removing the remaing film. The lense lookes as good as new. I'll just have to see what it looks like after moisture works it's way into the instrument cluster. Link to comment
