Running Lights

I bought running lights for my K12RS through Pirate's website and really like them. For the uninformed, these turn the turn signal lights into always on running lights that blink when the turn signal is engaged. Is there anything like these for the R12RT? Thanks.

Unfortunately the signalMinder is not applicable to the R1200RT.

Keep an eye on the bulb sockets then.....they weren't built/designed to hold a bulb that stays on ALL the time. Mine showed terrible heat exposure after several years, and indeed, one cracked when trying to twist it out of the hole.

 

Now, if you look at the brake/running light holders.....they don't do that.

Per Ken's reply, the Kisan does not apply in this case, but I wondered about heat build up in my R1100 running lights and have checked them several times since the Kisan was installed. After several years, no evidence of any distortion caused by heat. Your tail lights may be a different more susceptible design though.

My K bike's Run-N-Lights included replacement cans for the light housing to accomodate the increased heat. They work great and provide better visibility. Thanks for the replies.
