chrisx
so how much slipperyness should i feel. how much is critical. tis fall/winter in seattle and everthing is just a little "different". my rider safety course said that wet slip is not as much as stated .i.e. 30% or so. i cut my margins well below that and just wonder if the guy was way off base. I have the stock metzlers on in good condition but i don't like the way it climbs on 1/4 ledge. it hops. is there a tire that is more suited for this moderately grainy asphalt with some stripes carved off sort of thing? I am not a rapid roy nor pushing the curves for fun kind of a guy. yet. more a just enjoy the ride and relax on the way to work or across the state for a quick jaunt. what about a tire with the block type tread?? thanx Link to comment
