The high lead count may be due to contamination from an earlier oil change that had quite a bit of metal in the oil. I'll find out in 3k miles... Peter_Doege Posted September 8, 2006 Author Share Posted September 8, 2006 This is Advance Auto Parts 20w-50. It is an SL rated oil. It appears to have held up well enough over the miles. It has the advantage of being the least expensive oil in the store. The bike has a decent oil leak in the main seal right now and putting pricey oil in is a pretty silly endeavor.
