REVz
Went to NAPA for spare alternator belt. They gave me a part number...040233 which is 14mm x 620mm which they had cross-referenced to the Contitech that is listed in the R1100RT spare parts list. I didn't see NAPA in that list, is this really the right cross reference? Easier to take back now than to find out on the road somewhere... Thanks! Link to comment
Isatis_4CH92
Hello, OEM is 4K611. 4 means 4 V ribs and 611, 611 mm long There should be something like 4K620 or PK4-620 written on yours. It is 9 mm too long but may be the tensioning mechanism can take this up. Ride safe, Link to comment
ShovelStrokeEd
The extra 9mm is no problem for the takeup and greatly eases replacement if your spooning it on ala Jamie. A 13mm box socket and a little tire iron from an old airhead tool kit make the process painless. Link to comment
REVz
Isatis & ShovelStrokeED Thanks to you both for the quick reply. I just happen to have an ole airhead in the corral too...Thanks for the tip. Link to comment
