I don't particularly need the socket but I was thinking it would be a great way to power a small audio amplifier that I have. However I have no idea where to find the unused connector for the rear socket. Can anyone point me in the right direction (and also which wires are positive and ground). Thanks for any advise. Merch Posted July 21, 2006 Share Posted July 21, 2006 Looking inside the tail section with a flashlight, you see the unused connector taped down rather near where the power outlet would be. That's the one It's kinda tight back there, but you can get it ok. Link to comment

Be careful to avoid disturbing the diagnostic plug and it's wiring which is also back there.
