My buddy wants a semi-portable bike lift to oil changes and tire changes on 02 K1200RS, he tried the SEARS lift and the bike tipped off and broke the windshield. So that didn't work and he is not computer savy and asked me to look around online to help him out. Of all I have seen online, the Easy Riser seems to be the best solution. Thanks! Link to comment
JerryMather Posted July 18, 2006 Share Posted July 18, 2006 I work on bikes for a living right now and the only type of lift I'd use safely under my KRS is a non-portable one. Handy lifts are best but expensive. Harbor Freight has one that's less expensive and hand operated that'll work. They're all large but very nice to have when you want to work on your bike. GTrain Posted July 20, 2006 Share Posted July 20, 2006 I use the Eazy Rizer on my '04 GT and I really like it....takes some time for the initial setup but after that it's a breeze...you will need the Bike Grab (or a buddy)also to hold up your RS while you hook it up...for mounts you will need the footpeg mounts plus a front wheel mount.
