MG37221
Yeah I know. But I've looked everywhere and just can't find anything so here's my question: Front shock, lower attachment: Washers? What washers? All the documentation I can find (Clymer, Haynes) says don't forget the washers on either side of the mounting bolt. Doesn't look like any will fit. What says the wisdom here? This is just the front (where I couldn't torque the top either). Can't wait to do the back! Thanks in advance. Link to comment
smiller
No washers on the lower attachment bolt that I've ever seen. Rather than trying to figure out a method of torquing the top bolt I just adjust the nut until I see the rubber bushing start to compress then use a little Locktite to hold it there. Always worked fine for me. Don't worry, the rear is pretty straightforward (and no washers there either!) Link to comment
