bendbill Posted April 12, 2024 Posted April 12, 2024 20 years of police work taught me that the guilty always yell they are innocent. Always. Hooray for civil trials that hold the guilty liable after they slither away from the circus we call criminal trials. And I hope for the Goldman family to collect from the killer's estate. I would hope for more early actuarial events to take his defense lawyers, but that wouldn't be nice. 1
taylor1 Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 A young boy wanted to go out and play one afternoon, so he asked his parents for their permission They told him yes, but he had to be home before dark and if he wasn't, he would be grounded for a week Well, the boy wandered far from home and when he realized it was getting dark, a bit of fear set in. He started running as quick as he could and soon came to the conclusion that the only way he could make it would be to cut through the local cemetery. As he was running through the graves, a particularly large head stone had caught his attention which made him stop and read it. The inscription read: Stop here as you go by For as you are so once was I And as I am, someday you'll be So when it's time, come follow me Well, the young boy sat down and pondered over the words he read with great thought. He then reached in his pocket and pulled out a piece of chalk and wrote I've read your words on this day Which left me with one thing to say To follow you I'm not content Until I see which way you went 2 3
