Oilhead topcase retrofit to shifthead

My mission, should I choose to accept it. 

Intall this ...       ...on this. Must not alter OEM rack and must be removable in 20 minutes or less.

I have the stock, silver painted  top case, but it's too big and heavy for milk and beer runs to the grocery store.

I think I read where someone already did this on this site.

I could buy and install the givi plate, then mount the oilhead rack to it, for the paltry sum of ...186.00!!!? 

I bought the same plate in 2022 for $110.

You could buy the smaller BMW top case. I don’t know for sure, but I think it would clamp on like the big one does. You should be able to find it used somewhere. Or just get a nice rear seat bag. Who’s going to steal your milk and beer?
