SOLD - FS 1998 R1100RT No title, for parts

This bike has been sitting in my garage since being abandoned 4 years ago by owner (friend). It ran about 1 year ago and I drove it around some. About 2 months ago I drained gas and put in fresh to try to start it again. I think the battery is so dead that even with jump it won't spin fast enough to start. Has all Panniers and top box with matching keys. When it was ridden by owner he did maintain it well but bike does have 191,000 miles on it. The person that left it here has basically just disappeared and can't be reached by either myself or his family. I am friends with his family also and they can give affidavits if needed for getting a title eventually if wanted. The bike was meticulously maintained by owner and has some spare parts. I am in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Either PM me or respond to post.  $1000 or make offers

That's interesting.   I wonder if the bagger will go 191,000 miles...  But then, I'd need a friend.

WOW ... probably worth more in parts than as a whole.  But a good project for someone on a budget and wanting an older oil head.   They do run forever if maintained.
