Tentatively In... Based on the latest freeze out of Northern GA, I'm going to be a wimp and see what the weather is going to do. :)

Isn’t that why you have lights on the bike? :4617:

I have lights on the bike so you are well aware when I am about to pass you.  ;)

Chris has been there many times and should have top choice routes to select from. Just don’t let William or the other guy lead the pack. :3:

It's just been the three of us lately. I'm hoping @TyTass @Lowndes @Foot or Joel can join us this time.

Pass Bernie??  Not unless he has a flat.  And then you should stop to help.

It's obvious I need to lead more often so you have a better reference point.

Than me?  Yes.... Chris is good in the really tight twisties, but warp speed is not his thing.

Maybe, if you would come to more of these events, it would be easier in the long run.

Of course you always will have to add the extra expense of tire wear, fuel usage and more frequent oil changes to your lunch tab. :4322:

That's a common misconception about Sir Chris.  He is a very smart, fearless, considerate and thoughtful leader and allows us stragglers, wobblers, and mere mortals to catch up on the straights.  Plus he knows the straights is where you get the tickets.  I do remember a ride to Hot Springs several years back (Newport??) coming out of Trust on 209 after a lunch there with a group of Harley riders that left a few minutes before we got out.  We caught up with them at that long straight and someone said, "Let's pass 'em".  I looked down as I passed the last one and the speedo was sayin Mach Jesus.  And that was Chris up front.  He CAN do it, but seldom does unless we absolutely need to.

But if you want to do warp stuff I'll help.  My little K13S luuuuvs it and I ain't got no sense.

Loundes, I didn't say he couldn't do it. I said it wasn't his thing.  Just like me in the tight twisties and putting the effort into the really tight stuff.  I can do it, I just prefer not to most of the time. I.E....... I'm lazy.  ;)

I hear people talk about how much effort it is, how tired they are after riding the twisties, but I'm just as tired riding the same mileage on the slab, but not nearly as happy for some reason.

BTW, Shawn, I still have your Dunlop poster from Sparta.  No worries, mate, it's safe here.  Still rolled up.

Yes, guys it will be a moist Saturday, or not. But that is the way the squirrel moves.

I see who will make on Saturday at 11:30 AM.

Unfortunately our official buffet tester is under the weather and will not be able to join us this Saturday. :4317:

Bernie, does that mean another buffet lunch for March?   Hmmm.   :5146:

I hope he is feeling better by then.

I'll be there. Haven't been on a bike since January and it just looks like sprinkles from here to Metter.

I just called the restaurant and gave them a heads up.

So they can load up some extra food on the buffet line.

They are expecting us at 11:30 tomorrow.

Home after a  418 mile day. We had a great turnout despite the bad weather forecasts.

I think we may have had 15 folks that braved the weather and enjoyed a nice lunch and some good tire kicking.

Thank you to Sammy and the Augusta group for dragging 5 guys to the lunch.

We did sorely miss several of our regulars, but hopefully they can join us for the SECFF Lunch in March for the  wrap up of the season.

Here are a few pictures from the event.

A unique older RT showed up also. This is what RT’s looked like before all the electrical engineers got their hands on it.

Also 2 good and longtime friends reconnected before lunch in the parking lot.

Toady’s quiz: Anyone remember their names? :)

Thanks for hosting a great SECFF gathering.   See y'all next month!

I am trying, but sometimes my hands are tight.

But it did give you a chance to work on your rain riding skills. :18:
