New computer & recommendation

My Lenovo laptop is an old warrior.  Does all the necessary stuff but sloooowly.

 

While I'm keeping the laptop for travel and one app that has been discontinued that I need, it's been replaced with an Intel NUC from SimplyNUC.  It's not the speediest demon on the market, but it was like moving up from a Chevy Spark to a GT500.  It came in @ $1.6k fully installed.  Others here have built similar, faster systems. Just the components at MicroCenter were nearly $1.5k, but I wanted support and a no-hassle startup.

 

I'll add another Gen 5 SSD and clone the existing drive for backup soon.
