Nevroica
My 2003 K1200RS (29k miles) has a badly slipping clutch. I suspect oil fouling. Has anyone tried the “clutch renovation” seen here? https://youtu.be/nWND5RPpurE?si=l4DwsFBxYrh2A0V7 If so, is it effective? Thanks! Link to comment
Beech
Do you have an oil stain on the right side of the transmission to engine case. If so your 19x4mm seal oring has failed. You need to do the deep dive and replace it and all the rubber bits you uncover in the trip to the clutch. A big job. Generally besides the friction plate the spring plate and pressure plate are toast. Link to comment

Beech
A common topic on Luxury touring or K bikes.com. https://www.bmwlt.com/ https://www.k-bikes.com/forums/ The main crank seal is high quality. O-ring next to it is buna-N which fails. It needs to be Viton. A 10 hour job for a shop. 25 hrs for home garage. The Dealer will try to use factory oring but buy or ask me for a Viton one. If you have the Clymer manual and a copy of the OEM manual you can do it yourself if you have time and tools. Link to comment
