Hi!

Fitting new fors seals to 2001 R1150RT.

Which way up do they go?

Visible spring to the top?

Same orientation as the ones you removed.......usually that means the part numbers are visible on the top.

Didn't think to check when taking them out.

I'll check for part number.

Look carefully at the inside of the seal.  The side that has a double lip faces the oil.  That should be the side with the visible spring, but the double lip is the criteria that matters.

That's what I've always done. Spring towards the oil, or down.
