RichEdwards
It's getting tougher to find good ride destinations as the heat increases in Florida, but our Tampa club headed out over country roads to the Withlacoochee River in Inverness for an airboat ride. Wild Bill's Airboat holds 24 people and can go 45 mph over water that is as shallow as one-foot. We had a great time and a tasty lunch after the ride. We saw lots of wildlife, including this fellow who was swimming nearby: All the pictures are HERE. Link to comment
Mike O
Rich, Looks like fun. Did you actually go that fast (45MPH)? Regards, Mike O Link to comment
RichEdwards
I don't think we hit 45 mph---probably more like 35 mph. That's pretty fast through shallow water and river grass. Link to comment

StretchMark
We did that same ride when we visited Christine's Aunt and Uncle in Inverness. That's a fun trip. Lots of Gators. b.t.w. her Uncle owns the golf course in Inverness. Link to comment
