Year of manufacture will be on vin tag on right side of frame up by what would be triple tree.

In Wisconsin, you can file for lost title and normally get new title.  But remember the DMV is not speedie and prepare for a few hoops. Sometime they send a trooper out to verify your vin.

Make sure the very first thing you  do is go to the DMV and get the title straightened out before you spend any money on the bike………
