Howdy folks –

I traded in my 2009 R1200RT this summer, and now I’ve got a whole mess of leftover parts and tools that need a good home.    They were all intended for eventual use on that bike, but in most cases, they will also fit many other BMW models and model years.  Where possible, I’ve included links to BMW’s online parts system so you can check to see whether any given part will fit your bike.

Payment by check, money order, or PayPal is accepted; contact me via PM for payment details.  Prices shown include shipping to the lower 48 states; if you need it shipped elsewhere, let me know and we’ll work something out.

Several of the items have already sold, but there are still a few left.  Here we go!

On the off-chance you need a spare or replacement, this is for you.  Check here for fitment.

Best price I’ve seen is $185 from this guy.  The one in the photo can be yours for just $90.

Front/Rear OEM heated saddle (front, 52537683654; rear, 52537683652)

They fit together like they were made for each other:

These fit the R1200RT, model years 2004-2014; and also the R900 RT, model years 2005/2006/2009/2010.  Barely used – I bought a Corbin saddle a month after I bought the bike, and after that I only used the OEM saddle when I was washing the bike (didn’t want to trash the Corbin’s leather).  It’s still in great shape; buy this set to replace your damaged original saddle, or to send out for refitting by Russell Daylong or any other aftermarket saddle maker who needs an OEM seatpan to build on.

Price new for front and rear is $1232.80.  You can have this very, very slightly used set shipped to you for $450.

Bar risers/barbacks (used):

These fit the 2008-2014 R1200RT handlebar bolt pattern and move the handlebars rearward and upward (toward your chest) by about ?????? inches, so you sit more upright.  I made these many years ago when I had access to a CNC mill, so they’re unique; there’s nothing else out there quite like them.  The front edge is beveled and smoothly contoured to go around the forward attachment bolt holes.  Includes all bolts to attach them to your steer head (you reuse your existing bolts to attach your handlebars to the barbacks).  Powdercoated gloss black.  The patchy silver discoloration is where your handlebars will sit; those marks will not be visible once the installation is completed.

Best price I could find for new barbacks was $149; these are yours for $70.

Olympia 340 Men’s Vented Protector Gloves, size XL, barely used

Turns out I only have L-sized hands; I wore these for one single ride before realized they were just too big for me.  These are full gauntlet-style leather gloves with Kevlar stitching, good impact armor on the wrist, a vent on the backside of the palm, and hard knuckle armor.  If you’ve got XL hands, these are the gloves for you.
