Where to power USB

Hi al!

 

I want to have a USB cable in the storage compartment just below the clutch lever in the fairing.

 

On my previous RT (Hexhead), I repurposed the wires powereing the SAE connector and spliced a 12V USB adaptor behind the fairing so it was neat. I never used the SAE connector anyway so I didn't care if the SAE didn't work anymore.

 

I could do the same on my 2014 RT but I was wondering if there are other places to pick up power from.

Isn't there an unused connector for AUX lights sitting somewhere up there? 

If so, I would assume it requires a on/off switch to send power? Can it be coded to always be "ON" when the ignition is ON?

 

Any other ideas as to where to pick up power from under the front fairing?
