100 Years of Motorrad Exhibit

I had the good fortune to be visiting one of my suppliers near Greenville, South Carolina, and concluded business around noon.  I went to the visitors center at the BMW plant, and saw a poster advertising over 60 bikes on display celebrating 100 years of BMW Motorrad, but only a handful of bikes to be found.  The receptionist told me it was just down the street at the BMW Car Club of America Museum.  They rotate their exhibit every 6 months - usually cars, but their current exhibit was bikes.  I had the place to myself and had a blast.  The best part is the stories behind the bikes there, and storyline of Motorrad from it's inception.  It includes the rainbow of bikes that were made throughout the years along with a smattering of unique and quirky bikes, and a nice version of an Isetta.  The best $12 I've spent in a while, as they had to politely kick me out when they closed at 5:00.  If you're in the area and have a little time, check it out.  Now through Jan. 20

WOW that is very cool !!  I was there about a month ago as I had to stop in the gift shop but there was a training class going on and the place was a zoo so decided not to stop.  But I am in Charlotte so only a day trip there.  Thanks for sharing.
