Jimmy Buffet. Saw him in concerts several times. Came to our school. I still listen to his tunes often.

Was talking to a lady that worked in his store inside the Dirty Bird in Vegas several years ago.  Asked her if he ever stopped in.  She said he would stop in every store 2-3 times a year, ask about everything, always remembered her, name and personal info, would stay for a while just to talk.  Said he was just the nicest guy, very humble and funny.

 

Come Monday  "I've got my hushpuppies on. I guess I never was meant for glitter rock and roll"  

 

"Good times and riches and son-of-a-bitches I've seen more than I can recall"

 

RIP.  You definitely made this world a better place.
