Whip
Flew to Green Bay to pick up an FJR with 175 miles on it. Instead of headin south and going home...I went north....you guys are a bad influence on me.... On the mornin of 6-6-06...some thought the sun won't rise so I got up early to make sure.... Sunrise over Sturgeon Bay nice roads I forgot how fast the weather can change aroud the Great Lakes Started south...after dinner with Raaaan.....started for the Texas......In Arkansas I traveled on Scenic Byway #7..... I got to the Lawman's lair around midnight His home is guarded by this beast and roaming his property are these steaks GS roads On the way home I got to check out the new ventilation system on the FJR Texas sunset...it felt good to get home Whip Link to comment

Limecreek
Good looking bike! So is the RT gone, or are you keeping two touring bikes in the garage now? I know of another member that just made the RT to FJR switch, but remains in closet for now. Link to comment
Whip
No decision has been made regarding the future of the RT.....but it will not be ready for Gunny so the FJR will be making the trip to the UN......it was either buy the FJR or ride the Harley.....The FJR seemed like more fun.....No reason why I can't keep em both...... flyingreg
Nice bike! The RT is going to get lonely isn't it? BTW, great pictures, but I see you haven't learn your lesson yet about riding and taking photos. DOH! Link to comment
chrisolson
Sure is good looking... But will it "rip holes in the atmosphere" ???? Most likely it will, with great abandon good job !! Link to comment
Whip
Greg...I've been practicing picture taking from the bike(with Louise's camera)....it was easier with cruise control on the RT than on the FJR w/out cruise Chris...It may not be able to "rip holes in the atmosphere" ...but it didn't rip any holes in my wallet either.... sorry that may have been a low blow...but I ain't taken it back....
