What is the recommended grease to use on the front axle of the r1200rt. Thank you.

I agree with Mike, a good quality high temperature Lithium based wheel bearing grease will work about as good as anything. Just use a decent quality grease with a good ( 500°f or so) dropping temperature as the front hub can run fairly warm during heavy braking events.

The grease's main function is to prevent corrosion on the axle due to water/moisture entry, with a secondary function to lubricate the seal that rides on the axle.

Thanks for the help.
