Tire procurement issue

I'm finding it more and more difficult finding the rear tire size for my R1100RT, 160/60/ZR18 .What's up with that? There are still alot of these bikes on the road so there is a market for them.

The available tires are limited, but there are several.

Pirelli Angel GT

Metzeler ME888

Bridgestone Battleaxe T32

Avon Spirit ST

Conti Road Attack 3

Metzeler Z8 Roadtec

 

I just looked at the American Moto Tire website, and each of these was on the site and in stock.  Personally, I've been using the Angel GT and I have been very pleased with the handling and grip with a reasonable tire life. I didn't list the other out of stock models that were listed.
