Ethanol Free Gas

I saw a station that has ethanol free gas, but only 89 octane. If it were a higher octane I would have given it a try.  Has anyone tried this in their bike?  Would 89 octane be ok it I tossed in the correct amount of octane boost?  Just curious.  As always thanks in advance for your comments.

I ran 89 non-eth in my Camhead when I couldn't find 91.....bike didn't seem to care.

I wouldn't use Octane boost, YMMV:java:

I've run that 89 non-eth in several bikes now (when that was all that was available) and other than making sure I'm not trying to drag race my buddy down the interstate, I've not noticed any problems or "knocking" at interstate speeds.

Stay away from the octane boost. When it says it raises octane by 2 points, it means from 89 to 89.2, not 91. It will also turn your plugs red. I would think other engine parts turn red as well.
