Dave P
Hi everyone, for a 2007 R1200RT, I'd like to add a couple of LED aux lights up front, but I rarely ride at night. Really Id just like to triangulate my lights (well actually it would be 4 I guess since the RT does have 2 low beams). Id like something white or amber, adequately bright to get noticed, but kinda small and discrete. I'd just run them all the time. Don't really need them to light up the road for my benefit, I want to be seen!. Any suggestions? Thanks, Dave Link to comment
wbw6cos
I have Clearwater Darlas on the RT, but on my R 1200 C I have https://skenelights.com/front-visibility-systems.html I first bought white (and I use the conspicuity flicker( then after seeing amber on my RT, I added Skene amber alongside the white ones. Why not both? I tapped the gauge light hot wire for power. Low power draw keeps it simple. Link to comment
Dave P
Thanks WB, I kinda like the vertical arrangement, might actually fit better than something round. Is there any analysis about whit lights vs amber lights as far as conspicuity ? D Link to comment
