Review: Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde Exhaust EP-142084-NC for R1250GS

Hi Y'all-

Just wrapped up my review of the Dr. Jekill and Mr. Hyde exhaust for the R1250GS. This exhaust has three different sound modes and allows the rider to pick between them at the push of a button, on the fly. The video includes sound clips of all three modes, and an SAE J2825 style idle dBA measurement in all three modes as well. -MKL

WHY???

I just don't get it. Spend $1.7K for a noisemaker that has zero effect on performance? One of the main reasons I ride a BMW is that it puts out a minimum of noise.

Well this isn’t putting out more volume, so that’s not the issue. The issue is tone. If one is gonna spend that much anyway for a Remus or Acro, why not buy the one with multiple modes? I think that’s the angle here.
