2 years ago I had a Tripteq Heeler sidecar installed on my r1100rt with 40K. and it works!
A gap has now appeared in the bearing in the steering column. Are there instructions on how to replace this bearing?

Afternoon Kurt

The BMW 1100RT doesn't have a steering column, are you referring to replacing the ball thrust bearing in the upper fork bridge?

Check your PM (Personal Messages) on this site as I sent you some info on replacing the upper fork bridge bearing.
