@Bullett and I booked at the Motel Torrey Thursday the 21st  - Sun the 24th.  To avoid confusion in the thread for anybody new attending:  The event centers around The Chuckwagon Motel, not the Motel Torrey.

From the website, "Cancellation Policy: Cancellations for a hotel room reservation must be received 72-hours prior to arrival. If cancellation of a guaranteed reservation is not received by the required date, we will charge for one night’s accommodation."

Last time I looked a cancelable room was $229 and a non-cancelable room was $179 at The Chuckwgon.

Holy moly, it's already booked up!  So is the Thousand Trails RV Park, where I've stayed three times!

One week out from kickstand up and the bike is already packed and ready to go.  Somehow after all these years, I still get excited about Torrey.  Hope to see all you hooligans there!

I'm going back and forth on whether I want to come with the Xterra, on the bikes, or with Xterra and the bikes on a trailer.  Guess if we are a week out I'd better decide.

I checked the weather yesterday and decided I'd better wire the Behemoth for heated gear.

 

Anybody interested in heading due West from Torrey to Lee Vining and then up and over Yosemite? Maybe turn around, go back and then south on U.S. 395?
