Perfect ride Sunday

About 260 mile ride yesterday with the highlight being 70+ degrees, light traffic, and our first ferry ride of 2023 over Lake Wisconsin, via Merrimac Ferry.  

Picnic along the lake, meandering on some new roads (78 and Cty U), dodging countless construction closures, and home in time to cut the grass.   If you are out this way, be aware that Highway 60 west of Columbus is closed for at least 20-30 miles.   And the ice cream shop at the ferry crossing is not open yet (first world problem).

It looks a bit steep for a takeoff ramp but man, the height you’d get would be something.  Leave the Mrs on the sideline with a camera, because without proof… 

 

Sounded like a nice day even without ice cream.
