Valley of the Gods Road Conditions?

Google says suitable for passenger cars when dry.  Anyone here ridden it in the last few years?  Any deep loose sandy areas?   I've only ever been there this once, in 2010.  Considering riding that way to Torrey.

I rode it last spring on my GSA, easy gravel road. Some washboard and a few whoops, but not at all difficult if you have even modest off pavement skills. It was dry, so no idea what a good rain might do to it.

Hey Jan... Suz and I have been there several times.

Ride is easy if you take your time.

It will be good for you guys if you take lots of photos...
