How to charge battery on G310 R GS

Hi guys:

 

I see there is charging plug with cap on the right hand side of the bike which I believe is for charging battery. What kind of charger would I need that would work with that plug. thanks :)

As far as I can tell BMW says to not charge the 310 battery with the battery still connected to the motorcycle. But some riders do charge that way without issue. If you do charge it with the battery still connected then you will need a good charger the will never exceed 15 volts while charging. 

 

In any case, I'm not sure what you have on the right hand side so if you can tell us the model year of your motorcycle. Also, see if you can post a picture of the plug with cap open, or removed, so we can see what you are working with.
