Headlight Visibility 2023 RT

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys,

I wanted to add some visibility to the front of my RT (I don't ride at night). I bought from Lamin-X a headlight film for the RT in green (other colors available) for around $30.00, and customized the film for only the center part of the headlight (it comes as one piece for the entire headlight and two more pieces for the turn signals). It also may stop some small rocks from taking out the plastic headlight, maybe.

What happens if your return ride is somehow delayed and you have to right at night?  Is the film easy to remove in an emergency?

It'll peel right off, if needed.

I am a big fan of Lamin-X film on my BMW headlights for the added protection it provides from rocks and such; and the film doesn't detract from the lines of the headlight like some of the after-market covers do.  That said, I am referring to clear. With the yellow covers over your auxiliary lights, which add great conspicuity, I'm not sure I see the need for additional color over the main headlight.

Plus, I wonder about the legality of it.

The label does say "Off road use only. May not be legal for street use. Consult your local laws before applying."
