Friday April 28 So Cal Back Road Ride

The infamous Tehachapi to Mariposa back road ride is on again! The “usual suspects” are meeting in either Lancaster Starbux (Ave I) @ 8:30 or Tehachapi Shell Station (Mill St) @9:30 or Porterville Jenny Lynn’s Cafe around 12:30 for lunch.

The GPS maps are being fine tuned, they should be available here shortly.

Make this one if ya can, always an adventure!

Porterville will be 90 all weekend. I dunno about cooling vests, but well ventilated gear will be a plus...

Bakersfield will be high 90's for the highs on Fri and Sun.  Being as we'll be riding near there going up and back, I'm bringing the cooling vest and mesh gear.  Saturday ride should be good.

Yup,so plan on rolling outta Lancaster at 8:30, roll outta Tehachapi 9:30, short stop at the top of Granite Rd ( adjust gear, pee on the water tank, drink a little water…..) good roads after lunch!
