Sargent Seat Driver Backrest 1250gs

Hi All.  I just installed a Sargent Seat Driver Backrest on my 2019 1250GS.  A lot of bending, pushing, and pulling was required to get the seats on with the backrest.  Had to leave the bolts loose to get the front seat on, and then tighten up the backrest.  Getting the back seat on was even more interesting, with lots of pulling on the backrest and pushing on the seat cushion to get the back seat properly locked down.  Anyone else have one of these mounted?  Your experience with the process?
