Odometer versus Computer Mileage difference

So today I took some time and ran some tests and reset my service reminder using my GS-911. I noticed a difference in total miles between what the computer showed on my GS-911 diagnostics and the odometer on the instrument cluster. I found this strange but I'm sure there is a logical explanation.  Any thoughts? See photos attached.

I'm really not sure but there are some factors that could figure in, like rolling off before the dash has fully booted (a number of times), some sort of service function that effected the CAN for a short time allowing a difference in recorded miles.
