2005 Oilhead Engin

For Sale, Engine from 2005 R1200RT. Right cylinder had valves hit the piston. The bike had about 19K on it at the time. $200 OBO.

Where are you located? 

 I have all the parts  in shop to put it back together if bottom end has no damage. Mark 707-245-3289

I’m in Seacoast NH. I was riding a few years ago and, bang, it just stopped. There is definitely damage to that side. The other side looks fine, but I don’t know if the crank could have been damaged, though I doubt it. The thought at the time was that when I’d had work done on the throttle bodies, one of the clamps wasn’t tight enough causing a vacuum leak, lean mixture, which cooked an intake valve. I found a replacement engine and had it shipped so, I have a crate.
