This is the firmer FOAM replacement AND distinctive cover kit (Vinyl sides with semi-grip top) that brought the bikes seating to a comfort level and distinctive looks better than the day it was offered on the show room floor! Purchased 10/29/2021 with less than 800 miles of use! I consider this kit of high quality foam and attractive cover as well engineered and manufactured as a CUSTOM made seat! Condition is as NEW!

Details:
Seat Concepts seats are constructed using a foam material that is a much higher quality than OEM seat foam. Our proprietary formula provides a more plush and active ride, while still offering the necessary amount of support. Our unique comfort shape maintains a similar contour to stock at the front of the seat so the rider’s legs are not spread farther apart, but tapers out towards the mid-point to distribute rider weight over a greater area.
On this model, we built up the front of the seat, but dished out the rear slightly to level out the angle of the rider platform, and reduce the slope-into-tank feeling of the stock seat.
These features combine to offer a custom seat feel, and provide greater enjoyment and increased range on a long commute, or Dual-Sport ride!
Rear Kit:
New Rear Foam and Cover Kit offers a wider and slightly dished seating area. We also built up the front to help address the sliding forward feel of the stock seat.

Materials
Q: What are the differences between the cover options?
A: The Carbon Fiber material refers to a vinyl material with imprinting, making it look like carbon fiber. This material provides minimal grip. The Semi-Grip material has a beaded texture and provides an intermediate level of grip. The Gripper material has a sandpaper texture and will provide a fairly aggressive level of grip.
Q: Are the covers waterproof?
A: All standard covers are made of water-resistant vinyl. The covers are not waterproof at the seams. If you ride in an environment where water is an issue, wrap the foam with a thin plastic before installing the cover. A sheet of thin plastic is provided with all kits where applicable. Water will still be present at the seams after rain till the cover dries inside and out.
