Darbarian Posted January 16, 2023 Share Posted January 16, 2023 With no science or serious analysis behind them, speeds above arbitrary limits are equated to reckless or dangerous driving. In the 80-95 percentile, those driving above average speeds ARE PAYING ATTENTION. Those driving within bureaucratic limits are not often paying attention... to the task of driving. In fact, their speeds are so low their interest wanders to cell phones, texting and daydreaming. THOSE are the enemies of public safety. But that is not what arbitrary limits and supporters thereof care about. Thus, the good drivers pay extra to use the public roads. Link to comment
