Does anyone here know of a source for a carbon fiber overlay for the gauge cluster.

Finding OEM parts is getting difficult on some items for these bikes.  Google is your best friend and don't be afraid of the Euro sources.

Its not an oem part.  I found one on a Polish site and it was never shipped so paypal refunded my money

You are correct.  I should have said, "Even finding OEM parts..."

 

If the Polish source will cooperate in any way, I'd pursue them in a friendly manner and see if it can be resolved to everyone's benefit.

 

Don't forget what President Calvin Cooledge (#30) said. (He was called "Silent Cal" because he never said much, and when he did it was brief.  VERY brief  Except for this.)

 

 

I saw all but the last sentenance of this quote on a bronze plack in a McDonalds in Las Vegas on the strip years ago attributed to Ray Crock, the founder of the McDonalds franchise.  I told the manager about this misrepresentation.  He was not persuaded.  The next year the entire building was gone, replaced by a giant casino.  That's progress.
