Zumo XT switching between bikes

Recently bot a used RT and a new Zumo XT thus the need to use the Zumo on both the RT and the GS without a lot of hassle.  Bought a motopump GPS mount for the GS, an extra Garmin Zumo XT wiring harness and motorcycle mount bracket from the gpsstore.com

 

The RT only needed the Garmin lead wire threaded under the tank from the GPS to a switched pole on the Fuzeblock.  The GS needed the stuff shown below, the part at far right is a BMW repair lead that connects to the Garmin wiring harness and into the bike's Nav power supply. Here's a video on installing on the GS (only need the BMW repair lead and the Motopump GPS mount for GS-only install).

 

Just finished a very easy install (easier on the GS if you have small hands).  I used button connectors between the GPS harness & the BMW repair lead because of the small-size wire, then wrapped in 3M rubber tape.

Also, found a tank locking ring for the Givi 20LT tank bag on Ebay for the RT making it easy to swap from bike to bike.
