How can I remove myself as a member on this site?

There is no way to delete or "erase" an account ... to do so would create "holes" and / or broken links in many historical topics.  

 

Help me understand the reason or need for the request ....  possibly there is a work around to accomplish your goal.

Bud....you have many fans here.  All are wishing you the best outcome possible whether through a practiced religion or just common human decency.  Take a couple of days away, then comeback and see the next series of threads that will likely entertain you and perhaps reassure you that BMWST and it's members are good people.  I for one want to keep up with how you are doing and hoping for the best possible outcome.  I'm sure I am not alone here.
