randy
I have and evening job I work with my son five days a week. It is very simple takes about 3 hours. I listen to audio books as I am working. During the NBA season I listen to NBA games, probably 3 nights a week. But I still finish a book at least in two weeks time. I finish about 20 books a year This is what I have completed over the last 4 years of working. I am looking for suggestions for a similar series to start on. Please let me know if you have any recommendations Sherlock Holmes Spenser series Alex Cross seriesMichael Bennett series Cole and Hitch Jesse Stone Kinsey Millhone Link to comment

I enjoyed Memory Man & John Puller series https://www.davidbaldacci.com/landing-page/david-baldacci-books/ Ace Atkins' Quinn Colson series is very good https://aceatkins.com/quinn-colson-series/ Most if not all can be downloaded from your local library free of charge. Rougarou
Some recent books I read, don't know how many are on audio though. Highly recommend Bosch. I also recommend Stieg Larsson's Millennial series, only three books by him, but a few others in his style since his death. Link to comment

Ken S
Don't know if this fits your interests, but I've enjoyed all of Tony Hillerman's novels about Joe Leaphorn and Jim Chee, 2 Navajo tribal policemen. Although basically crime novels, they're much more about people and Navajo lands, culture and history. I've been able to get them for free using the Hoopla app with my local library. Link to comment
Randyjaco
Try William R. Forstchen's "John Matherson series". It's only 3 books, but a great yarn. Check out the app "Libby". Thousands of free books and all you need is a library card. Link to comment
