Powerlet rating 2016 R1200RT

Can Anyone tell me what the amp rating for the socket on my rt side dash panel. My heated jacket liner is 6.5 amps at full on.

Look in your riders manual on (or about) page 181, should say something like (Electrical rating of onboard sockets = max 10 Amps, all onboard sockets together. 

 

So when using one power socket you have 10 amps of power available, if using 2 power sockets you have 10 amps between the 2 of them,  or 5 amps & 5 amps, or 7 amps & 3 amps, etc. But the total power used in all power sockets combined cannot exceed 10 amps total.

RT is 10 amps, all other bikes are 5 amps......
