In true MOCO fashion, rather than produce the bike with the things needed, force the owners to buy a multitude of things that should be on the bike from the beginning.

I realize all manufacturers have this to some degree, however that is the soul of Harley business practices

Yeah, I am thinking that those cases should be a little more darker in color; they do not look like they match the HD motif.

They certainly detract from the decent styling of the bike. A couple of giant generic pieces of steel luggage from an instrument packaging company.

The bike must have been feeling a bit left out for not being as ugly as a GS and thought, "I've got a great idea..."

Great campfire conversation…. My bike is uglier than your bike! No way, the Germans make the ugliest adventure bikes!  Those bags on that Pan should be black and mounted two inches lower. That’s just how my eyes see it being critical on the looks.
