roadscholar
CADS put on this ride each Fall, just throwing it out in case there's any interest, seems a few more GS riders are venturing off road each year and/or have dedicated dual-sport bikes. The video is from last year (posted then in the GS section) of one of 5 or 6 groups on the ride. The sandy road (Newell Rd) at the beginning and the tricky one at the end (Walkingstick) are optional and will have ride-arounds, everything else is pretty easy on a big bike, generally hard packed and maintained. If you're already in Georgia or points north it's easy to pick up the route along the way. TEWKS
Looks like there’s a few “big bike” butt clinchers involved in that ride! Link to comment

Although most of them handled it fine, that group shouldn’t have taken that last road/trail, it was a mistake by the ride leader. They never listen to me. 1 Link to comment
